Slippery Elm Bark, Ulmus rubra
Slippery elm bark is commonly used as a digestive aid as it cools and soothes the digestive tract. Internally slippery elm bark might help relieve diarrhea, stomach and intestinal ulcers and inflammation, cough, cold and internal inflammation. This is a wonderful herb to always have on hand as there are many conditions where slippery elm is indicated.
This product is available as a medicinal tincture, and dry herb.

Commonly used to address gut-related issues, skin and hand rashes such as swelling, redness, and itching. Orally, slippery elm may reduce swelling and systemic inflammation. Slippery elm is commonly used to relieve cold and congestion in the upper respiratory and throat areas. It is also commonly used to relieve digestive pain including irritable and irregular bowels and constipation.
The bark is best when taken as a decoction or as a cold infusion.

HOW TO USE:
Internal – Place 1-2 tsp of dry her to a hot glass of water and steeping, covered, for 3-4 minutes.
Children – Safe for children to use in standard dietary doses.
Marshmallow should be taken with at least 250 cc/mL (8 oz) of water.
