Anti-Inflammatory Herbal Tea
DESCRIPTION:
This anti-inflammatory herbal tea blend is specifically designed to target joint inflammation. This product is best when used daily to provide a long-term reduction in the inflammatory process. This product is available in an 8 oz tin container. Serving Size: 60 servings
All Wellness Warrior products are organic.
White willow bark is imported from Croatia and is certified Kosher by Kosher Certification Services. Certified organic by the USDA and QAI, Inc.
Cinnamon is certified organic by the USDA and Oregon Tilth.
CONTAINS:
Love and the organic herbs Salix alba (white willow bark), & Cinnamomum burmanii (cinnamon).
COMMON USES:
Anti-inflammatory herbal tea is one of our most popular items among police and firefighters as it's a great substitute for the common medicine-cabinet pharmaceuticals that are grabbed many times to subdue minor aches and arthritic-like pains.
PROPERTIES:
Analgesic, anti-inflammatory.
HOW TO USE:
Internal – Shake the container well as the cinnamon is powdered and the white willow bark is in shredded bark form. Place 1/2 tsp. of the loose tea in 8 oz of hot water and cover for 12 minutes. Strain the herb and drink the tea when cooled to a safe temperature. Safe to take daily.
For added benefit, consider placing the tea in a strainer already in the tea cup or a stainless tea ball. Most of the cinnamon will dissolve but the white willow bark will need to be extracted. Using the strainer in advance avoids having to strain the tea once made.
CAUTION:
Do not expose children to this product without direct medical consultation. This product contains salicylate, which is a well known anti-inflammatory property contained in certain herbs.
WARNING: Use is cautioned in persons with sensitivity to aspirin or other salicylate-containing drugs, & persons with glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD).
(California Proposition 65 Statement): This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. If pregnant or planning on becoming pregnant, please consult with a trusted healthcare provider prior to use.
